[NEWS] – FED raises interest rates to highest level since 2008
On September 21, after a two-day meeting, the FED decided to raise the introductory interest rate by 0.75 percentage points (75 basis points) for the third time in a row, and the fifth rate hike of this year. The primary interest rate band was raised to range from 3 to 3.25%, the highest since January 2008.

According to the General Statistics Office, the consumer price index (CPI) in August is estimated to increase by 0.006% compared to the previous month. The average 8 months of 2022 is estimated to increase by 2.58% - 2.6% over the same period in 2021.
