The Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway, Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, Can Gio Bridge, Thu Thiem Bridge, and several crucial traffic projects will be started in 2025, according to the plan from the City Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City.

On June 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport (Transportation) said that the department has made a list of crucial traffic works and projects typically in emulation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South unification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Accordingly, there are about 8 projects planned to start construction in 2025, including the Construction Investment Project of Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Thu Thiem 4 Bridge, Can Gio Bridge, and Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City (passing through HCMC), Ring Road 2 - phase 1 (section from Phu Huu bridge to Hanoi Highway) urban railway line No. 2 HCMC (metro no.2) - phase 1 (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong), Nguyen Khoai road bridge and Can Gio international transshipment port.

According to PV’s research, these projects are in the pre-feasibility study and preparation of investment procedures.

In addition to preparing to start the above projects, the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City has also said that it will focus on coordinating with departments and investors to speed up the progress to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles to meet the completion schedule for exploitation on the occasion of April 30, 2025, other key traffic projects and works.

More specifically, key traffic works are expected to reach the finish line on April 30, 2025, including Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Construction Project through the section (HCMC), node construction project traffic in My Thuy, projects to reduce traffic jams at Tan Son Nhat airport area (Project to build a road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan street - Cong Hoa street, project to expand Hoang Hoa Tham road,...), An Phu intersection construction project, Highway 50 expansion project.
