From January 1, 2023, Vietnamese industrial products exported to the UK market must be labeled with UKCA labels instead of CE labels as before.
What is the UKCA label?
UKCA is a UK standard conformity certification mark. UKCA is required for some products circulating in the UK market (England, Wales, and Scotland). Products requiring the UKCA mark are mostly equivalent to products requiring the CE mark.
Products that require labeling
4 subjects needing attention to label UKCA are: Manufacturers, product marketers, importers, and distributors.
Products that require the use of the UKCA label, such as: toys, fireworks, recreational boats, jet skis, pressure vessels, electromagnetic compatibility, non-automatic scales, measuring instruments, bottles measuring bottles, elevators, radio equipment…
For products: Medical equipment; construction products; cable lines; transportable pressure equipment; unmanned aircraft systems; railway products; marine equipment, after 23:00 on December 31, 2022, the CE mark will no longer be used and must be replaced by the UKCA mark when the product is placed on the UK market.
