In 2022, the real estate business ranked second in attracting FDI with more than 4.45 billion USD, accounting for more than 16% of total registered investment capital. Compared with last year’s period, foreign capital registered in the real estate sector increased by 1.8 billion USD.
According to data from the Foreign Investment Department (Ministry of Planning and Investment), as of December 20, total foreign direct investment (FDI) registered in Vietnam reached nearly $28 billion, down 11%, compared to the same period in 2021.
Which, real estate business continued to rank second in attracting FDI with more than 4.45 billion USD, accounting for more than 16% of total registered investment capital. Compared with last year’s period, foreign capital registered in the real estate sector increased by 1.8 billion USD.
In addition, more than 200 senior representatives from leading investment companies have chosen Vietnam as the most preferred investment destination and ranked second in emerging markets. For the first time, Vietnam entered the Top 20 economies in terms of FDI attraction in the world.
