The above batch of seedless litchi belongs to Ho Guom - Song Am High-tech Agriculture Company, grown in Thanh Hoa - Ngoc Lac, and is imported by TT Meridian to the UK market.

TT Meridian is an enterprise specializing in the distribution of lychee and Vietnamese agricultural products in the UK.

TT Meridian CEO - Mr. Thai Tran said that although the retail price of seedless lychees is about 16-18 pounds/kg (equivalent to 480,000-540,000 VND) and this price is about 3-4 pounds higher than regular lychees. If the UK market accepts the quality and norms of Vietnam’s seedless lychee, TT Meridian will import about 1 tonne of lychee per week in June and July, the time of lychee season in Vietnam.

To keep the quality of the fabric, this batch of seedless material was scheduled and locked in Ngoc Lac - Thanh Hoa province on the evening of June 14 and kept cold for about 36-48 hours. The shipment completed transaction inspection procedures at Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) and was transported on a direct flight at local time. After that, the quantity of goods was announced and returned to TT Meridian’s warehouse on the morning of June 16.

Seedless lychee is a variety imported from abroad when litchi is bright red, crispy, grapefruit pulp has a sweet taste. The advantages of the Naft variety are reduced care, no worms, good preservation, and high economic value. Starting around the 4th year the tree has been harvested.

The lychee product has a typical sweet taste of lychee, is crispy, has a berry pulp, and, more significantly, has no seeds, so it is pretty suitable for consumers in the UK and Europe.

Ripe litchi fruit has a bright red color, crispy pulp, light sweetness, and bar, skin does not burn when exposed to the sun and is easy to store.

This is like the fabric imported from Japan, selected and tested by Ho Guom-Song Am High-tech Agriculture Company Limited in collaboration with the Institute of Agricultural Genetics since 2019 in Ngoc Lac district on an area of about approx 30 ha.

This is the first year litchi is planned with an estimated output of more than 20 tons.
